Charisma Lyall, Founder & Director
Charisma Lyall is a seasoned regulatory specialist with nearly two decades of experience across legal, regulatory, and governance roles. As former General Counsel of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, she advised on complex regulatory issues, regulatory enforcement actions and investigations and the development of key supervisory laws. Her career also includes senior consulting roles and extensive board and committee experience across Guernsey’s financial services and non-profit sectors.
Charisma is an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey (non-practicing), a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales (non-practicing), and a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland (non-practicing). She has led multi-year legislative projects, appeared in the Royal Court on behalf of the regulator, and advised at the highest levels on regulatory investigations and enforcement, governance, AML/CFT/CPF, and risk management.
In addition to her technical expertise, Charisma is active in the community, holding positions with the Guernsey Association of Trustees, the Guernsey Investment Fund Association, and the GSPCA. Charisma is also a member of the States of Guernsey Scrutiny Management Committee. Her leadership style combines technical depth with a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach, ensuring every ConsultGC engagement is director-led and delivered with independence, confidentiality, and clarity.
